NYSPFP Nursing-Centered Initiatives Regional Kick-Off Conferences - Manhattan

9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
GNYHA Conference Center
555 West 57th Street, 15th Floor
New York, NY 10019
NYSPFP will launch its Nursing-Centered Initiatives to reduce hospital-acquired conditions caused by falls with injury, pressure ulcers, adverse drug events related to high-alert medications, and venous thromboembolism through three regional in-person learning sessions in October. These sessions will highlight innovative approaches from regional clinical experts, and effective strategies for integrating patient safety practices throughout the care delivery system. Additionally, NYSPFP staff will present the overarching Nursing-Centered Initiatives approach and measurement strategy. Hospital teams will be given guidance on how to operationalize best practices and improvement strategies through examples given by a reactor panel of invited clinical representatives, and facilitated discussion during the sessions. Following the launch sessions, educational webconferences will be held to further support hospital efforts.
