Implementing Change: The Technical & Socio-Adaptive Aspects of Preventing CAUTI

This webinar will feature Sanjay Saint, MD, Director of the VA/University of Michigan Patient Safety Enhancement Program. Dr. Saint is an expert on improving patient safety by preventing healthcare-associated infections, and has also focused his research on medical decision-making. He will deliver a presentation entitled, Implementing Change: The Technical & Socio-Adaptive Aspects of Preventing CAUTI. During this Webconference, hospitals will also have an opportunity to ask questions of Dr. Saint and to share and discuss with peers the successes, challenges, and progress of their CAUTI Initiative activities.

Who Should Attend

NYSPFP encourages your CAUTI interdisciplinary team and front-line clinical staff to join this Webinar. This includes, at a minimum, your CAUTI clinical and data leads, in addition to any other key staff (e.g., physician and nurse champions from the Emergency Department, ICUs, and non-ICUs) that is involved in the implementation and data collection/submission of the CAUTI initiative.
