Innovations in CAUTI and CLABSI Reduction Efforts

This Webconference will focus on innovative approaches to CAUTI and CLABSI reduction. Specifically, featured hospitals will highlight their work to integrate health information technology into hospital-acquired infection reduction, as well as their prevention efforts in the emergency department and operating room settings. Speakers from Stamford Hospital, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Stony Brook Medical Center, and Schuyler Hospital will share their success stories. During this Webconference, hospitals will also have an opportunity to ask questions and to share and discuss with peers the successes, challenges, and progress of their CAUTI and CLABSI Initiative activities.

Who Should Attend

NYSPFP encourages your CAUTI and CLABSI interdisciplinary teams, including front-line clinical staff to join this Webinar. This includes, at a minimum, your CAUTI and CLABSI clinical and data leads, in addition to any other key staff (e.g., physician and nurse champions from the Emergency Department, ICUs and non-ICUs) that is involved in the implementation and data collection/submission of the CAUTI and CLABSI initiatives.
