NYSPFP Progressive Mobility Webinar: Systematic Measurement of Mobility

On December 19, NYSPFP, in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins Activity and Mobility Promotion (Hopkins AMP) Program, is hosting the second webinar in a series on addressing patient immobility harm by implementing an inter-professional program to promote activity and mobility across the hospital.

In this follow-up to the first webinar, directors at Hopkins AMP will detail strategies for developing and implementing a systematic, interdisciplinary approach to assess and measure mobility. The webinar will cover:
• The roles of multidisciplinary clinicians in patient activity and mobility measurement and documentation
• The activity measure for post-acute care (AM-PAC) and the Johns Hopkins Highest Level of Mobility (JH-HLM) Scale
• Using AM-PAC and JH-HLM to set daily mobility goals
• Integrating functional measures into the electronic medical record (EMR) and report design
