NYSPFP will host a December 13 conference on using the American College of Surgeons’ Strong for Surgery Toolkit to optimize patients perioperatively and how those tools intersect with Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) programs. The event also will explore how to standardize for efficiency and operationalize surgical quality improvement initiatives in a resource-limited setting. NYSPFP has promoted the Strong for Surgery (S4S) approach throughout its programming this year, and is excited to bring national experts to provide more insight into how to operationalize S4S and introduce new additions to the toolkit.
