NYSPFP ADE Webinar in the Optimizing Anticoagulation Care Series: Who, What, and When of VTE Prevention

Thursday, July 12, 2018
1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
NYSPFP is pleased to announce the second webinar in its Optimizing Anticoagulation Care series, presented in collaboration with the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM). On July 12, NYSPFP will host the webinar Who, What, and When of VTE Prevention, to provide hospitals with information and strategies to support their VTE (venous thromboembolism) prevention activities. Expert faculty will discuss risk assessment models; types of VTE prophylaxis, including contraindications; and timing of when to start and stop therapies. With many NYSPFP participants working with VTE prevention every day, the webinar is a great opportunity for a comprehensive update on current practices.

• David Rosenberg, MD, MPH, FACP, SFHM, Northwell Health
• Kimberly Zammit, PharmD, Kaleida Health
• David Coriale, RPH, PharmD, BCPS, Oneida Health
