NYSPFP CLABSI Initiative Monthly Webinar

Wednesday, June 20, 2012
2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m
This Webconference, the first in a series of monthly CLABSI Initiative webinars, will focus on the progress that hospitals have made in implementing the CLABSI Initiative since the May 2012 NYSPFP CLABSI Initiative Kick-off. CLABSI teams from North Shore-LIJ Health System and Claxton Hepburn Hospital will discuss the strategies and best practices they have used to implement a successful and sustainable CLABSI reduction program within their institutions, including a focus on engaging physician extenders to review central line necessity and prevent infections. During this Webconference, hospitals will also have an opportunity to ask questions and to share and discuss with peers the successes and barriers they have encountered as they begin to plan and roll-out their CLABSI Initiative activities.
