NYSPFP Regional Forums on Sepsis Care: Concentrating on Fluid Resuscitation

5/18/18, 5/30/18

NYSPFP will host two regional quality improvement forums on fluid administration pertaining to sepsis bundle compliance. Each interactive forum will enable you to share your hospital’s best practices and challenges in meeting the sepsis fluid administration requirements.

Below are the locations, dates, and times, with registration links. If you have any questions about the events, please contact your NYSPFP project manager.

Laura Evans, MD, MSc, an Associate Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine, Medical Director of Critical Care at Bellevue Hospital, and Steering Committee member of the Surviving Sepsis Campaign, will detail the current evidence on fluid administration in sepsis care and facilitate discussion between hospitals.

Who Should Attend

We encourage you to invite two to three representatives from your sepsis multidisciplinary team to attend one of the meetings. Please prepare to share your own experiences on the topic and any questions you have on the science of fluid resuscitation in sepsis treatment.
