NYSPFP ADE Optimizing Anticoagulation Care Series Webinar: Understanding Risks, Benefits, and Treatment Indications

Tuesday, April 24, 2018
1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
NYSPFP, in collaboration with the Society for Hospital Medicine (SHM), is pleased to announce its new educational webinar series, Optimizing Anticoagulation Care. Adverse drug events (ADEs) due to anticoagulants are among the most common causes of medication-related harm in older Americans and have been identified by hospitals, clinical specialty societies, and Federal agencies as a priority target for patient safety initiatives.

On April 24, NYSPFP will host the first webinar in the series, featuring a discussion on the epidemiology of venous thromboembolism-related disorders, anticoagulation-related risks and strategies to reduce those risks, and anticoagulant indications by disease state.
