NYSPFP VAE/Delirium Webinar: Integrating Non-Pharmacological Interventions into ICU Workflow

Thursday, March 22, 2018
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
On March 22, NYSPFP will host a webinar on integrating non-pharmacological interventions for the critically ill patient into the intensive care unit’s (ICU) standard workflow. Featured speaker along with NYSPFP staff will both be sharing tools and resources to help implement interventions to enhance care for intensive care patients.

The NYSPFP Delirium Prevention Demonstration Toolkit will be introduced by NYSPFP staff. Hospitals can access a sample toolkit from their NYSPFP project manager.

The webinar will feature John Owen-Bell, Charge Nurse and Team Leader, Adult Critical Care Unit, Bristol Royal Infirmary, United Kingdom. Mr. Bell leads both regional and national delirium prevention efforts. At multiple international conferences, he has detailed his hospital’s protocol-based approach to non-pharmacological interventions to reduce delirium.
