NYSPFP Safe Patient Handling Data Office Hour

Wednesday, October 25, 2017
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
On October 25, NYSPFP will host an office hours webinar on best practices for the collection and use of data to inform Safe Patient Handling (SPH) programs and drive improvement in worker safety.

NYSPFP staff will discuss the new NYSPFP SPH measure, which was introduced earlier this year. The webinar is a forum to help hospitals clarify their understanding of the measure by communicating directly with NYSPFP staff regarding any questions or concerns. They also can share successes and challenges they encountered while working to collect and submit data for the OSHA 300 form.

Speakers

The webinar will feature Paula Pless, Director of Safe Patient Handling at Kaleida Health.
