NYSPFP Webinar: Antibiotic Stewardship/MDRO/CDI Phase III Kickoff: Tracking, Monitoring, and Reporting Antibiotic Prescribing, Use and Resistance

On October 18, NYSPFP will introduce Phase III of the HIIN Antibiotic Stewardship Program (ASP). The webinar will focus on strategies, tools, and resources to help hospitals implement policies and interventions related to Core Elements 5 & 6 of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s "Core Elements of Antibiotic Stewardship Program:
• Tracking and monitoring antibiotic prescribing, use, and resistance
• Reporting information on improving antibiotic use and resistance

Faculty members will address numerous topics, including policies and strategies that can be adopted to support optimal monitoring and regular reporting of antibiotic prescribing, use, and resistance patterns to both prescribers, front line staff and leadership.
