NYSPFP Webinar: Sepsis Care and Antibiotic Stewardship: Can they Co-exist?

NYSPFP invites you to join a statewide webinar on August 30 focused on the application of antibiotic stewardship principles in the treatment of sepsis. This webinar will provide practical strategies and tools to guide clinicians in adhering to the antibiotic administration element of the three-hour sepsis bundle while aligning with antibiotic stewardship principles. Common challenges that hospitals encounter will be discussed in addition to the logistics of ensuring both timely antibiotic administration and appropriateness of the antibiotic.

Speakers

The featured speakers from Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine include Belinda Ostrowsky, MD, MPH, Director of Epidemiology, Antimicrobial Stewardship & Infection Prevention and Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine, and Yi Guo, PharmD, Clinical Pharmacy Manager of Infectious Diseases.
