NYSPFP Webinar: ADE Glycemic Management

As a follow up to May’s Regional ADE conferences with the Society for Hospital Medicine (SHM), NYSPFP will host a webinar on July 26 to address questions put forth by hospitals on that program’s glycemic management component. SHM faculty will return to continue their discussion and answer hospitals’ questions on their presentation on insulin order sets and protocols. Additionally, the staff from Westchester Medical Center, which is designated as a top performer by SHM, will share their successes and challenges experienced in their glycemic management journey.

• Irene Weiss, MD, Chief of the Division of Endocrinology and Program Director of the Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, Westchester Medical Center.
• Donna M. Gibbons, RN, MS, CPT, CDE, Diabetes Program Manager, Nursing Professional Development, Westchester Medical Center.

Who Should Attend

NYSPFP encourages multidisciplinary hospital staff responsible for insulin management and adverse drug event reduction to participate, including hospitalists, intensivists, pharmacists, nutritionists, nurses, diabetes educators, and other quality and safety leaders.
