NYSPFP Launches Adverse Drug Events Initiative with the Society for Hospital Medicine

Thursday, April 6, 2017
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
On Thursday, April 6, 2017, NYSPFP will host a webinar to announce their newest collaboration with the Society for Hospital to assist hospitals with reducing adverse drug events among three high alert drug classes: opioids, anticoagulants, and insulin. This initiative will address persistent challenges in implementing best practices and culture change related to these high alert medications.

During the webinar, NYSPFP and SHM staff will provide a brief overview of the collaborative, followed by pertinent clinical information relative to opioid management and glycemic control.
