VAE/Delirium Prevention: Operationalizing the Pain, Agitation and Delirium Assessments

On March 28th, NYSPFP will host a webconference focused on operationalizing the Pain, Agitation and Delirium (PAD) assessments recommended by the 2013 Clinical Practice Guidelines for Management of Pain Agitation and Delirium in the ICU.

Hospitals that have successfully implemented the PAD assessments will share how they trained staff to perform the assessments in the ICU and incorporate the assessments into the daily workflow.

Additionally, NYSPFP staff will share tools and resources to support hospitals as they work to implement the ABCDEF bundle, particularly focusing on the tools for PAD.

NYSPFP encourages critical care staff including, physicians, nurses, pharmacists and respiratory therapists, infection prevention, physical therapy and quality improvement to join this webinar.
