Sepsis Webinar: NYS Hospital Experiences

NYSPFP continues its monthly series on sepsis process improvement with a statewide webinar on August 10 featuring two NYS hospitals sharing their sepsis process improvement efforts. Kathryn Mason RN, MSN, PCCN, Director, Nursing Education and NYSPFP Quality Initiatives and Kathleen Fanitzi, BSN, RN, CIC, Director of Infection Control at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital will share their experience and successes in implementing a comprehensive program for the care of sepsis patients. Allison Glasser, Director of Operations Patient Safety within the Office for Excellence in Patient Care at Mount Sinai Hospital, will also discuss their quality improvement approach to improving care for patients with sepsis.
