NYSPFP PFE Webinar Series 3: Implementing and Sustaining a Patient and Family Advisory Council

NYSPFP is pleased to present the final session in a three part webinar series on "How to Create and Sustain a Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) to Improve Patient Safety" featuring the experts from the American Institutes for Research (AIR), the CMS PFP Person and Family Engagement Contractor.

This webinar will provide concrete information to help organizations form and sustain a patient and family advisory council. In this webinar, participants will learn about:

• Example PFAC activities and projects
• Tracking and communicating PFAC accomplishments including metrics and interaction with other committees
• How to sustain work with and integrate advisors into your organization
• Specific examples and experiences from HANYS hospitals and external hospitals
