NYSPFP-ACOG OB Safety Educational Coaching Call

On June 14, NYSPFP and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) District II will host a webinar focused on reducing maternal morbidity and mortality associated with persistent hypertension. During the webinar, Peter Bernstein, MD, MPH, Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology and Women’s Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Director of the Division of Maternal and Fetal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, will review the Safe Motherhood Initiative’s (SMI) hypertension bundle. NYSPFP staff will review quality improvement approaches to ensure safer care for patients with persistent hypertension in pregnancy, with a particular focus on the drivers that can be addressed to implement elements of the hypertension bundle.
