Infection Prevention Webinar

A Webinar for NYSPFP Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTIs) and Central Line–Associated Bloodstream Infections (CLABSIs) initiatives will be held on Wednesday, May 2, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. This Webinar will provide information needed for hospitals to conduct a point prevalence study to identify units with high urinary catheter and central line utilization. Additionally, NYSPFP's proposed measurement strategy for these two clinical areas of focus will be presented, and an overview will be provided of a survey for you to assess your current practices to prevent and monitor CAUTIs and CLABSIs.

1. Go to the CLABSI/CAUTI: Point Prevalence Study and Assessment of Current Practices
2. Enter your name and e-mail address.

4. Click "Join"
5. On the next screen, please re-enter your e-mail address and type in your facility's name.
6. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom right-hand side of your screen.

After loading, a pop-up box will appear with the following dial-in instructions:

• Your unique Attendee ID number: ____ (Assigned when you log into the Webconference) You will need to key this number into the telephone to ensure your computer and telephone are linked.
