ADE Advancing Glycemic Control in the Inpatient Setting – Syracuse

NYSPFP is hosting a series of in-person conferences focused on Advancing Glycemic Control in the Inpatient Setting, which will be held in collaboration with the Society of Hospital Medicine, in various locations throughout the State. The session will convene hospitals’ multidisciplinary adverse drug event reduction teams to learn about evidence-based best practices and process improvement strategies related to inpatient glycemic control.

Through the glycemic control initiative, NYSPFP will help hospitals implement insulin protocols and other key glycemic control interventions. The session will cover the following overarching themes:

• Innovation of performance improvement strategies to continually seek excellence
• Glycemic control protocols, order sets, and other key interventions for critical care and non-critical care patients

Who Should Attend

Diabetes educators, nutritionists, physician and nursing leadership, pharmacists, hospitalists, intensivists, and frontline caregivers are encouraged to participate as a team.

Continuing Education for Physicians (CME) and Pharmacists (CE) pending
