The Overall Picture of Clostridium difficile and Focused Reduction Strategies

Friday, December 18, 2015

On December 18, NYSPFP will hold the first webinar in a series focused on reducing Clostridium difficile infections. This is a new clinical content area within NYSPFP, but one in which hospitals have concentrated their infection prevention strategies for years. L. Clifford McDonald, MD, Senior Advisor for Science and Integrity in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be the guest speaker. Dr. McDonald will describe the overall epidemiology of Clostridium difficile and various ways to prevent the spread of it and other multi-drug resistant organisms.
