The New York State Perinatal Quality Collaborative (NYSPQC)/New York State Partnership for Patients (NYSPFP) Obstetrical Improvement Project will be hosting two in-person learning sessions on December 2 and December 3, 2014. These regional in-person conferences are an opportunity to bring hospital obstetric teams together to celebrate hospitals’ reductions in early elective deliveries (EED), share strategies for sustaining low EED rates and discuss best practices for EED, hemorrhage, and hypertension management.

During these sessions, national experts will present the evidence related to continued improvement work in these areas, and review practices for sustainability.

Hospital teams should choose to attend one of the two sessions, as both will cover the same content.

Speakers

• Peter Cherouny, MD, Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, University of Vermont, College of Medicine
• Patricia Heinrich, RN, MSN, Quality Improvement Consultant
• New York State Department of Health Staff
• NYSPFP Staff
