CAUTI Webconference: CAUTI Guide to Patient Safety, Part 1

On April 17, NYSPFP will host an educational webconference featuring several hospitals in New York State that have successfully completed the CAUTI Guide to Patient Safety (GPS) tool who will share their experiences. Dr. Sanjay Saint will lead a discussion about the results from the GPS tool and provide guidance to hospitals in developing CAUTI reduction action plans in response to results from the GPS.

How to join the Webconference

1. Click on the following link to begin logging on: https://nyspfp.webex.com/nyspfp/onstage/g.php?d=641634053&t=a
2. Enter your name and e-mail 
3. Enter the case-sensitive password: Prevent417
4. Click the "Join Now" button.
5. Fill in any additional information requested.
6. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom right-hand side of your screen.

After loading, a pop-up box will appear with the following dial-in instructions:

• The toll-free phone number: (877) 668-4493 
• The Meeting ID number: 641 634 053 
• Your unique Attendee ID number: ____ (Assigned when you log into the Webconference) You will need to key this number into the telephone to ensure your computer and telephone are linked.

This Webconference will be presented with Closed Captioning. You can begin accessing the closed captioning 10 minutes prior to the start of the Webconference, either in the WebEx media viewer, or by opening a separate window in your browser and using the following link: http://www.captionedtext.com/client/event.aspx?CustomerID=1367&EventID=2346459


Who Should Attend

NYSPFP encourages your CAUTI interdisciplinary team and front-line clinical staff to join this Webinar. This includes, at a minimum, your CAUTI clinical and data leads, in addition to any other key staff members (e.g., nurse and physician champions from intensive care units (ICUs), non-ICUs, emergency departments, operating rooms, infection preventionists, quality staff, and ancillary support staff such as transporters).
