Insulin-Focused ADE Webinar Series Part 4: Advancing the Prevention of Hypo- and Hyperglycemic Events

This webinar is the last in a series of four webinars focused on strategies for effective glycemic control for inpatients. During this session a brief recap of best practices and innovations related to insulin therapy will be provided. Then, the floor will be open for interactive audience questions, answers and discussion with Greg Maynard, M.D., Clinical Professor of Medicine and Director of the University of California San Diego Center for Innovation and Improvement Science and Kristi Kulasa, M.D., Endocrinologist at University of California San Diego Medical Center. Dr. Maynard and Dr. Kulasa will provide answers to some of the most frequently asked questions related to hypoglycemia management and prevention strategies, as well as measurement and continuous monitoring.

In preparation for the webinar, the NYSPFP asks that you forward your questions about effective glycemic control to your NYSPFP Project Manager prior to March 19 to ensure that your questions are answered. Time will also be allotted during the webinar for you to ask questions aloud.
