Insulin-Focused ADE Webinar Series Part 3: Advancing the Prevention of Hypo- and Hyperglycemic Events

This webinar is the third in a series of four webinars focused on strategies for effective glycemic control for inpatients. The series is intended to provide a forum to exchange information on best practices and innovations related to insulin therapy. Principles of implementing basal bolus insulin regimens will be discussed, including concepts that may be integrated into hospitals' basal-bolus insulin protocols and order sets. Dr. Greg Maynard, Clinical Professor of Medicine and Director of the University of California San Diego Center for Innovation and Improvement Science, and Senior Vice President of the Society of Hospital Medicine’s Center for Hospital Innovation and Improvement, will join this call to discuss hypoglycemia management and prevention strategies, as well as benefits and recommendations for measurement and continuous monitoring.
