The New York State Perinatal Quality Collaborative (NYSPQC)/New York State Partnership for Patients (NYSPFP) Obstetrical Improvement Project will be hosting two in-person learning sessions on April 7 and April 9, 2014. During these sessions, national experts will present the evidence behind the program’s goals and approach and provide guidance for hospital teams in developing their initial action plans to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with maternal hemorrhage and pre-eclampsia. Additionally, these regional in-person conferences are an opportunity to bring hospital obstetric teams together to celebrate hospitals’ reductions in early elective deliveries (EED) to date and share best practices to hardwire changes and durable reductions in the EED rate.

Hospital teams can choose to attend one of the two sessions, as both will cover the same content.

Speakers

• Peter Cherouny, MD, Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, University of Vermont, College of Medicine
