CAUTI Webconference

Tuesday, February 25, 2014
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
This Webconference will examine the current state of the NYSPFP CAUTI Initiative, including activities to date and current data results. Hospital progress will be gauged via an interactive polling feature. Following this setting of the stage, Dr. Sanjay Saint will introduce the CAUTI Guide to Patient Safety (GPS), a tool to help guide the development and implementation of CAUTI reduction activities based on hospital-specific factors. Hospitals will be encouraged, with the help of their project managers, to implement the GPS tool in advance of the next CAUTI Webconference in April. Dr. Saint will also discuss the newly added NYSPFP measure, the CAUTI population rate.
