NYSPFP Regional Nursing-Centered Conferences: ENGAGE, INTEGRATE, IMPROVE CARE

Wednesday, October 23, 2013
9:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Hotel Utica
102 Lafayette Street
Utica, NY 13502
NYSPFP is pleased to announce four in-person regional nursing centered conferences—Engage, Integrate, Improve Care—that will be held in various locations throughout the State. The programs are designed to reconvene participating hospitals to assess the improvement in care and outcomes over the last year of NYSPFP activity. The conferences will all provide the opportunity for hospitals to share successes and lessons learned from implementing strategies to reduce adverse drug events, injurious falls, venous-thromboembolism, and pressure ulcers.

Each session will cover the overarching themes of multidisciplinary team development and engagement; active engagement of patients and families in managing illness; the integration of standardized, innovative practices into the care delivery system; and excellence through innovation in performance improvement strategies.
