VAE Prevention Webconference

This Webconference will cover feature best practices and innovations to reduce ventilator-associated events, with a particular focus on innovations in increasing mobility and activity levels for patients on ventilators, as well as sedation reduction practices.

How to join the Webconference

2. Enter your name and e-mail
3. Enter the case-sensitive password: Best2
4. Click the “Join Now” button
5. Fill in any additional information requested
6. Click the “Submit” button at the bottom right-hand side of your screen

After loading, a pop-up box will appear with the following dial-in instructions:

• The toll-free phone number: (877) 668-4493 
• The Meeting ID number: 648 223 006 
• Your unique Attendee ID number: ____ (Assigned when you log into the Webconference) You will need to key this number into the telephone to ensure your computer and telephone are linked.

This Webconference will be presented with Closed Captioning. Who Should Attend

NYSPFP encourages your ventilator care interdisciplinary teams and front-line clinical staff to join this Webinar. This includes, at a minimum, your VAE clinical and data leads, in addition to any other key staff members (e.g., champion intensivists and/or pulmonologists, nurse leaders, respiratory therapists, quality staff, and infection preventionists) that are involved in the implementation of the VAE initiative.
