Accelerating Improvement: Fall Injury Prevention Strategies

Wednesday, July 10, 2013
1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
This session will focus on innovative, patient-centered strategies for fall prevention and the reduction of risk factors for falls. Specifically, the Webconference follows up the very well-received NYSPFP Fall Injury Prevention Workshops held in May and will provide an opportunity to hear from hospitals that have implemented strategies to prevent falls and related injuries based on the tools and recommendations provided during the workshops. The Webconference will be a forum to share information and best practices, and ask questions of Patricia Quigley, Ph.D., M.P.H., A.R.N.P., associate director of the VISN 8 Patient Safety Center, and other hospital representatives.

Patricia Quigley, PhD, MPH, ARNP, CRRN, FAAN, FAANP, Associate Director, VISN 8 Patient Safety Center, Associate Chief for Nursing Service and Research
