CAUTI/CLABSI Prevention Webconference

This Webconference will revisit central line-associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI) prevention, with a presentation on the CLABSI maintenance bundle and a particular focus on spreading maintenance practices throughout the hospital.

Additionally, as previewed on the March 13 CAUTI Webconference, NYSPFP staff will unveil the approach for rapid cycle improvement activities to reduce catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) and promote appropriate use of urinary catheters.

Who Should Attend

NYSPFP encourages your CAUTI and CLABSI interdisciplinary teams and front-line clinical staff to join this Webinar. This includes, at a minimum, your CAUTI and CLABSI clinical and data leads, in addition to any other key staff members (e.g., physician and nurse champions from the Emergency Department, ICUs, and non-ICUs) that are involved in the implementation of the CLABSI and CAUTI initiatives.
