CAUTI Prevention Webconference

This Webconference will refocus NYSPFP’s formal educational programming for catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) and appropriate use of urinary catheters. NYSPFP staff will review the current CAUTI and device utilization data, and prepare hospitals for the next phase of rapid improvement activities. Speakers from featured hospitals will discuss their innovations in CAUTI prevention including limiting urinary catheter insertions in the Emergency Department (ED) and implementing nurse- or physician-driven protocols for timely urinary catheter review and discontinuation.

5. Fill in any additional information requested
6. Click the “Submit” button at the bottom right-hand side of your screen

• Your unique Attendee ID number: ____ (Assigned when you log into the Webconference) You will need to key this number into the telephone to ensure your computer and telephone are linked.

Who Should Attend

NYSPFP encourages your CAUTI interdisciplinary team and front-line clinical staff to join this Webinar. This includes, at a minimum, your CAUTI clinical and data leads, in addition to any other key staff members (e.g., physician and nurse champions from the Emergency Department, ICUs, and non-ICUs) that are involved in the implementation of the CAUTI initiative.
